Planning a wedding can be hard enough as it is, without the added stress of ‘how can I make my day more unique?’ With so many of us turning to platforms such as Pinterest and Instagram to plan our weddings, it can be hard to figure out what you want to add to your wedding to make it seem more ‘you’. That’s why we’ve put together a few ideas to help inspire you to create a fun and unique wedding day suited to you and your other half.
Say it with flowers: The easiest way to make your wedding day unique, is to tailor your flowers (if you’re having them) to suit your own tastes and personalities. Think about yourself and your partner, what are your favourite flowers, what flowers do you think represent your character the most and let your florist get creative.
Unusual welcome drinks: Instead of opting for the standard ‘pimms, prosecco, beer or orange’, ask your events manager if you could swap out your welcome drinks for something a little more ‘you’.
Do something different: Don’t forget to ask your photographer to take some creative shots during your wedding day.
Get creative with wedding favours: Another great opportunity to make your wedding day more unique, is to give a wedding favour that’s outside ‘the norm’. You could keep it simple with items such as favourite foods or drinks or do something a little extra like personalised coasters that guests can take home.
It’s all in the detail: From your colour scheme to your wedding cake, each little decision you make will end up creating your very own unique wedding day. Don’t forget not to stress out about making your day ‘different’ to any other wedding.
